Problem 6:

A 72.7 kg fullback moving eastward with a speed of 5.4 m/s collides head on with a 105-kg lineman moving westward with a speed of 7.6 m/s. Determine the post-collision velocity of the two players (assuming they grab each other and move together as a single object). Enter a negative value for a westward velocity and a positive value for an eastward velocity.

• Take the time to plot out a strategy prior to beginning the solution
• Identify an appropriate formula to use (or use a momentum table)
