Problem Set A

Problem #10:

Car A and Car B are separated by a distance of 62.5 meters and are traveling with a speed of 31.2 m/s. Car A - the lead car slams on its brakes and accelerates at -9.3 m/s/s. Car B slams on its brakes at exactly the same time and accelerates at -8.5 m/s/s. Determine the distance between cars upon coming to a stop.
