Online Reference Sources
are reference books available in electronic format from our Library
pages. They are available from any computer at school and, if you
have a computer at home with internet access, they are available
there too, 24/7. You will need a username and password from home,
so stop into the Library to pick up a password "cheat sheet" from
the circulation desk.
Think about your assignment
and choose a database that contains needed information. Don't forget
that you may be using several databases from different categories
depending on the assignment. For example, you may need biographical
information as well as historical and multicultural information
for an assignment on the underground railroad. If you need help
in choosing an appropriate database, please ask a librarian.
