2010 DISTINGUISHED TEACHER AWARD

Attention All Students:

This is your chance to recognize an exceptional teacher who has been especially creative, helpful and/or supportive to you and your classmates. The Glenbrook North Parents' Association is pleased to announce the Twenty-second annual Distinguished Teacher Award which will be given to an outstanding teacher at the 2010 GBN Awards Assembly.

How to Submit a Nomination:

  • Electronic nominations (preferred) - visit the GBN home page at http://gbhsweb.glenbrook225.org/gbn/distinguishedteacher/, under Quick Links select Distinguished Teacher
  • Hard copy nominations - available in the Main Office & Guidance Office, should be submitted (typed-preferred or handwritten) to Ms. Frandson in the Main Office.
  • Be as specific and descriptive as possible in answering each question on the nomination form
  • Do not exceed one page per question

The award consists of a $1000.00 cash stipend. The winning teacher will have his/her name engraved on the permanent plaque displayed at GBN. All nominated teachers will receive a certificate of recognition and a gift. If you know of a "special" teacher, why not give him or her the opportunity to win this cherished award?

Please be aware, however, that Distinguished Teacher Award recipients from the past 5 years (2005-2009) are not eligible to win this year; however, their nomination for this award will be recognized with a certificate and a gift from the Parents’ Association.
